Container BESS: assess the system before specifying it

Battery storage is more than a container and a capacity figure. Connect technical quality, safety, controls, operating costs and procurement evidence.

A suitable architecture starts with the required duty: shifting solar production, limiting peak demand, backing up selected loads or a combination of services. Nominal energy and converter power must be related to usable capacity, reserve, auxiliary consumption and the actual operating profile.

What we assess before selecting a technology

  • Duty and connection: load data, grid limits, backup boundaries and operating priorities.
  • Battery, power conversion and controls as one system, including thermal management and protection.
  • Cybersecurity: local operation, remote access, updates, logs, recovery and supplier dependencies.
  • Whole-life cost: degradation, maintenance, replacement, uncertain revenue and alternatives without storage.
  • Evidence for the intended project: product documents, applicable requirements, fire concept, acceptance and named responsibilities.

Paid technology advice · Before procurement

Assess the risk before choosing the supplier.

For municipalities, hospitals, water utilities, schools and businesses: define the quality, security and operating outcomes you need from PV and BESS. Agree a separate advisory scope before purchasing equipment.

A brand-neutral brief with verifiable requirements

For a municipality, hospital or industrial site, a lower acquisition price is only one input. Agree the minimum operating and security conditions first, then compare supported differences in quality and cost. The chosen technology may differ by project; a country-of-origin label is neither a safety certificate nor proof of a defect.

Advice before investment

Agree the assessment before choosing equipment.

This is a paid advisory service. Scope, fee, delivery date, named specialists and exclusions are agreed in a written proposal before work begins. Sending an enquiry is not an order or an obligation to purchase equipment.
