Hybrid photovoltaic power plants - the ideal solution for photovoltaics in 2014! Hybrid PPPs are especially suitable for family homes, cottages, cottages, companies or industrial areas, where a classic electricity connection is available. The biggest advantage of hybrid photovoltaic power plants is the fact that almost all electricity production from photovoltaic panels is used for own consumption, either in the form of electricity or for heating with a heat pump, for hot water heating, air conditioning, irrigation, swimming pool operation or other predetermined appliances. If the investor has permission to connect to the distribution system, he can supply only a very small part in the form of excess electricity to the network. If the investor did not receive a connection permit in the past or does not want to apply for a permit and license, he no longer has to deal with these bureaucratic issues with a hybrid photovoltaic power plant. Do you own an older PV plant, and would you like to maximize the use of the energy produced? You, too, can legally convert your PPP to a HPPP (hybrid photovoltaic power plant) and thus be completely independent of outages and at the same time use all the energy produced from the photovoltaic panels.

The difference between a classic photovoltaic solar power plant and a hybrid photovoltaic power plant mainly lies in the maximum use of energy from solar photovoltaic panels without unnecessarily supplying too much excess energy to the grid. In conventional PV plants, approx. 30% of the total energy produced is usually used, i.e. 70% of energy is supplied to the network under disadvantageous conditions - that is, at a minimum price, and this energy is subsequently missing in the evening, at night, during energy peaks (washing, cooking, drying, air conditioning), or in cloudy weather. In contrast to these classic first-generation PPPs, hybrid photovoltaic power plants, especially on the roofs of family houses and companies, can effectively use almost 100% of the electrical energy.

The biggest advantage of the hybrid photovoltaic power plants built today is the independence from granting permission to connect to the distribution system (EON, ČEZ, PRE), the so-called "Stop status".

Today, a hybrid solar power plant can legally produce electricity from solar photovoltaic panels and efficiently consume electricity from its own sources in the building in question. By later ending the "stop status" on the connection of new photovoltaic power plants and obtaining a positive opinion from the distributor, such a hybrid photovoltaic power plant can now legally connect to the distribution system, officially invoice the distributor for all produced electricity, and at the same time legally supply any minimal surpluses to the distribution system.

Although drawing the green bonus is only possible after the photovoltaic power plant is connected to the distribution system, the important thing is that the amount of the green bonus is determined based on the date of putting the PV plant into operation (see Act No. 330/2010 Coll., Energy Act). Thus, the investor does not have to wait unnecessarily for the end of the "stop state" of permitting the connection of the PV plant and can practically immediately start using his hybrid photovoltaic power plant, because in fact this PV plant is not yet connected to the distribution system, does not supply any electricity to the electricity system and is galvanically separated from it. At the same time, however, thanks to the technical maturity of the photovoltaic hybrid system, it is not a pure island operation, and thus after connection to the grid, which may well occur later, this hybrid solar power plant will be entitled to the support of the so-called "green bonus".

After obtaining permission to connect to the distribution system and obtaining a license, the hybrid photovoltaic power plant is ready to connect to the distribution system and supply any surpluses to the grid by simply changing the settings.

Another indisputable advantage of the hybrid photovoltaic power plant is the already integrated function for the use of excess energy during power peaks, when the intelligent hybrid inverter can already redirect excess energy in real time or with a controlled delay to your predetermined, energy-intensive appliances such as (boiler, heating, air conditioning, freezers, swimming pool, heat pump, watering, etc.).

If you intend to buy solar panels for your house and thus build a photovoltaic power plant, the hybrid photovoltaic system today appears to be an ideal solution, with only slightly higher input costs, leading not only to independence from rising electricity prices, but also to independence from possible power system outages.

With the maximum use of produced electricity (almost 100%) and at the same time maximum savings for electricity not purchased, the return of hybrid photovoltaic power plants compared to classic grid PV power plants from past years appears to be the most economical solution in the long term, and it also interestingly complements issues of energy security in the event of potential blackouts public power grids.

If you have any questions, we will be happy to advise you and possibly design a hybrid photovoltaic power plant tailored to your building.

A hybrid photovoltaic power plant is a suitable solution for buildings, family homes, companies or industrial premises, where it is possible to use an electricity connection at the same time.

Hybrid photovoltaic power plants with DC-coupling (HPPP DC-Coupling) are and always will be a simple solution to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy (as was the case with the installation of classic PV). There is no need to ask the distributor for permission to install HPPP with DC coupling. HPPP is demonstrably galvanically separated from DS and there is no need to solve any other administrative tasks (distributor permit, license, etc.).

One of the great advantages of a photovoltaic hybrid power plant is that it is able to use 100% of the electricity produced by the photovoltaic panels for self-consumption. A hybrid photovoltaic power plant can reduce your costs for the purchase of electricity, but also for the purchase of gas, as it is possible to combine HPPP with heating of domestic hot water and heating water using a storage tank with heating coils or a heat pump.

Another advantage of the hybrid photovoltaic power plant is its variability. It is possible to install smaller power in solar panels first and gradually add solar panels according to the financial possibilities of the investor. It is also possible to install a single-phase system first and later expand the hybrid power plant to a two-phase or three-phase hybrid photovoltaic system. HPPP also works great with a heat pump - if you are thinking about a heat pump, we will be happy to advise you on the choice and propose an optimal solution with the unique principle of controlling the heat pump with hybrid photovoltaics.

Hybrid photovoltaic power plants will also be appreciated by companies that need to use maximum power for self-consumption and at the same time obtain a reliable backup power source (UPS) in the event of a power outage. Thus, HPPP will ensure a reduction in electricity costs, greater energy independence and self-sufficiency, and energy security, not only for one generation, but also for the next generation.
